The kit of selected botanicals and citrus fruit for vermouth contains cassia cinnamon, a botanical that stands out for its sweet yet slightly spicy flavour.A stick of cassia cinnamon softly grated over your vermouth will provide it with some sweet notes and a slightly spicy touch. The second botanical present in the kit is the star anise: an aroma that easily takes the limelight and that can be used alone or along a few olives or a fresh orange peel twist.
Bourbon vanilla is the third botanical of this selection. Its sweet and penetrating aroma comes out when splitting a pod in two.
Green cardamom is the fourth botanical of our kit, it is very versatile in nature and it fits perfectly with the other botanicals. A few crushed cardamom pods inside your drink provide it with sweet, spicy, citrusy and refreshing aromas.
We also have two citrus fruit available in this kit: orange peels and kumquat.
The first one is perfect for adding in your drink along with a fresh twist of orange peel. The orange strips bring citrusy and mature aromas with hints of caramel and wood in contrast with the fresh orange twist.
Kumquat, being one of our favourite botanicals, adds citrusy and tangy notes to your vermouth in a very simple manner: you only have to drop a few kumquat peels in your drink.
